WHY YOU AREN’T SEEING RESULTS IN THE GYM

If you’ve been working out consistently and putting in hard work in the gym but feel like you aren’t seeing results here might be some reasons why…

🥑 You’re restricting your calories too much
You might be eating too little for what your body needs to fuel your workout as well as recover from them. Not eating enough calories will not allow your body to gain muscle and therefore will affect our muscle tone and growth. Also, your workouts might not be as “hard” as you think since you are lacking energy.

🥞 You’re eating too much
Although eating a lot is good for our metabolism, energy levels and muscles, eating too much will also affect your progress. If you track your macros but you aren’t tracking everything, the few extra foods will add up and affect your daily macro goals.

🏋🏼‍♀️ You are not periodizing your workouts
What I mean by this is that you aren’t following a strategic plan and upping your weights and implementing progressive overload. This can cause you to hit a plateau in the gym as you are not challenging your muscles. But also, it might be that you’re constantly changing the exercises making it hard for your body to see noticeable changes.

😴 You are training too hard/not resting enough
Over-training is a real thing and can really negatively affect your progress. By not giving your muscles enough rest, it will not be able to recover properly and can increase the chance of injury. Also, you will start to feel burnt out very quickly and lose motivation.
